Have you ever pondered what sets an incredible musician apart from an average musician?
Most of us would probably list qualities such as:
1. Super talented
2. Practices regularly and intelligently
3. Consistent; rarely has a “bad day”
4. Takes lessons; has a coach
5. Listens attentively to recordings, live performances of other great musicians
All of these qualities are very important and definitely play a big part in making a great musician, but I believe there is one final quality that super cedes all of these. I will cover this in my next Take 5 post!
